In her acceptance speech, Monique said that she was glad they paid attention to the acting and not to the politics. After all, that is what they are supposed to vote on. Congratulations for winning the award for Best Supporting Actress, Monique! Where are all the big stars, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman? So thrilled that Jeff Bridges won for Best Actor! It’s made this long, boring show worth it. Now if only Sandra Bullock takes the Best Actress, that would be special! So glad that The Cove took the award for Documentary, instead of the commie rag about the ’secrets of the Vietnam War’. I’m with you Monique! No politics at the Oscars!
